Starting point

Cumbria

A ride between the market towns of Sedbergh and Kirkby Lonsdale, following the River Lune at a steady pace to suit everyone on the ride. The ride is classed as "challenging" because of distance.
Almost entirely on minor roads, starting in Sedbergh we head west through the town and cross the Lune towards Killington.
Staying on the west side of the river, Kirkby Lonsdale is the halfway point and brew stop - we'll be spoilt for choice for cafes!
The ride then crosses the Lune again via Devil's Bridge (no jumping in!) and meanders up through Casterton and Barbon using some of the new Lakes and Dales Loop. From Barbon we continue northwards on some of the narrowest roads in Cumbria, through Middleton and Catholes, returning to Sedbergh.
It is possible to do the ride in the clockwise direction. We can decide on the day.
