Note: I'll be doing this loop twice at 0730 and again at 0930. Please join either or both! Come and join us for a leisurely early morning along the Lymington Sea Wall with the wind at our backs. Depending on wind direction we will be heading towards Key Haven and the Old Roman Road or towards Lymington Sea Baths and Marina, using some quitter back roads.
There are beautiful views across the Solent, views of the needles and Hurst castle.
The sea wall is a gravel path with a few gates, cyclists do not hae the right of way so we will be giving way to walkers, especially those with dogs. There will likely be wildlife and birds as the area is a nature reserve. There is a short narrow muddy path between 2 lanes.
We will be travelling together at all times and will be stopping for coffee (and poss cake) along the way.
Please make sure you wear clothing appropriate to the weather conditions and a working set of lights. Also remember your money for the coffee stop and a lock may be useful as we will probably end up sitting inside.
Finally - Could I ask you to carefully check your contact details, particularly your mobile number, just in case i need to change details before the ride takes place. I look forward to seeing you there, Jane
