This is a HSBC Breeze Ride, led by women for women. Ride leaders are called Breeze Champions and are trained level 1 or level 2 ride leaders by British Cycling. They are all volunteers and hold current first aid certificates.

This approximately 4 mile ride is one of a series of gentle Macknade Meanders - created to help give you the confidence to get out on your bike and enjoy our beautiful local countryside!Ride times are very approximate, we do not rush or race - it takes as long as it takes! We don't worry about crunching gears, if a chain comes off -we put it back on again!
Punctures! - we help you fix them! Hills! - this area is hilly but we do not let them stop us from getting out and about - we stop, get our breath back and even walk!
Upon our return, Macknade are very kindly providing participants with complimentary tea/coffee!
So, if you are new to cycling, returning to cycling, getting used to new bike, then these free women only rides are for you! All you need is a road worthy bike, comfortable clothing and a helmet.

Please remember your.....
- helmet (compulsory)
- face mask
- spare inner tube, pump and tools needed if you don't have quick release wheels
- water bottle(s)
- suitable clothing
- any medications
- money for refreshments
- a contact number for a lift/assistance in case of mechanical breakdown!! (ride leaders are not trained mechanics!)
