Malt Kiln Farm for Coffee

We meet at Lutterworth Sports Centre, and go through Bitteswell, Ashby Parva, Ullesthorpe, Claybrook, we cross the A5 and continue along the Lanes until we get to monks Kirby. We go through Monks Kirby and continue to Malt Kiln Farm.

I would not describe the route as flat but there are no major climbs of hills, so most Ladies should be able to cope with the route. The cake or scones at Malt Kiln Farm are always good and worth the ride.

This is a Ladies only Road Bike ride. We aim to cycle at 12/14 mph and have a no drop policy so you will never be on your own at the back. This is a ride to Malt Kiln Farm for a coffee (and cake ??) from Lutterworth through some local villages and on some fairly quiet lanes. I think this is a lovely route,

In the main these are fairly quiet lanes, we do cross the A5 and Coalpit Lane, and the last 500 metres to Malt Kiln Farm can sometimes be busy, but otherwise the lanes are fairly quiet.

We will have have coffee at Malt Kiln Farm, and can stop for water stops if required.

Helmets are essential, no helmet no ride. Clothing suitable for the weather conditions. Money for a drink at the farm shop. A suitable bike, a spare inner tube and tyre levers. We observe a strict no drop policy so you will never be on your own a the back.
