Manchester Social Group - Rudyard Platform 2

This is the fourth ride in a series of trying to help get people's milage and climbing up. Please note route is all on roads

Please bring appropriate clothing, food/drink etc.
Please try and be at the NCC/velodrome in order to leave at 09:00.

***I'll be putting up the second and third rides for the weekends prior to this very shortly (so we will have chance to build up on weeks 2 and 3 prior to this one!!)***

We'll be making our way south of Manchester trying to avoid the busy roads, skirting around Macclesfield until we come to our main climbing which to be fair is a little bit like the Brickworks but over a longer distance. This will take us through Wincle and Dainbridge and then down into the small town/village of Rudyard. We'll then make our way back up (avoiding that steep distance which would otherwise be a very long climb!).

Mileage:- 67.5 miles
Elevation:- 3887ft
C Pace (Average speed of 14mph)

This will be an easygoing pace as always (14mph on flats) and the time shown above should allow for any punctures etc. Suitable for road/hybrid.
