The trail is well sign posted and very obvious to follow on the cycle path. Its a slate cinder type path, it is suitable for road bikes although you do have to be careful. I will be riding a road bike. There are toilets and picnic benches along the route which we can use.

Lovely flat route on a cycle path all the way, views of the Mawddach estuary, turn around point by the iconic railway bridge over the estuary into Barmouth.

We will be using the marked trail that is a disused railway line

We will stop as needed along the way, weather looks good so lots of stops due to the heat. We will stop for a picnic lunch and on our return a stop at the George (pub) 2 miles from the end for a drink. Food will not be available here

Please bring a picnic and plenty to drink. Sun cream is advisable. Helmets must be worn and if possible a light long sleeve top to cover up from the sun

First-timers welcome!
