From Chipping Norton we will head out to Churchill , turning right to Kingham, and on past Kingham station to take the left hand turn into Foxholes. After bluebell admiration we take the track onwards back to the road, and turn right to the Bruern Cafe. After cake we head back through Sarsden to Churchil ( yes, sorry, up that short but steep hill into Churchil- but it’s fine to walk up ;-). From Churchill we come back along the main road into Chippy.

You are joining a lovely gentle sociable ride to see the Bluebells at Foxholes. A treat for the Bank Holiday, and a welcome to May.

Once we are out of Chipping Norton the route is mostly on country lanes. There is a short off-road track section at Foxholes, where we may need to wheel our bikes depending on the conditions on the day. To fully appreciate the bluebell woods we can either lock the bikes up to walk into the wood, or wheel them with us.

After the bluebells we will stop at Bruern Farm Shop for cake.

Be sure to bring a roadworthy bike, a helmet and a spare inner tube. A lock would be useful, and funds for refreshments.

We especially welcome new riders, we ride at the pace of the slowest rider, and we never leave anyone behind.
