This route takes us to Tankersley, Wortley Penistone, Flouch and back via Langsett Woods & reservoir, Upper Don Trail, Deepcar, Oughtibridge, and back to Sheffield. MOSTLY OFF ROAD. If yo like traffic free riding this is a good route.
Old railway trails, gravel tracks, TPT dirt & gravel trails, a bit of Moorland track, and some tarmac cycle lanes
The Loft cafe at Penistone, Greggs at Deepcar, and maybe a stop at Meadowhall Retail Park, near the route end.
Helmets, suitable riding gear, and a means to REPAIR a FLAT Tyre.
experienced riders are very welcome.
