Based on the fabulous Melody of Mud route, our ride takes us down through the wooded slopes of Prestwich Clough and along the Irwell Valley on the Outwood trail to Radcliffe we then ride alongside the Manchester Bolton and Bury Canal to Nob End then through Ringley to Clifton Country Park for a loop around the lake then along Red Rock Laneand back up Prestwich Clough to our start point.

Mostly off road 15.5 mile route with rough and muddy surfaces

Bike Suitability: Mountain bike or hybrid with off road tyres.

A refreshment stop is planned at the cafe in Clifton Country Park

Helmets are strongly recommend. Bikes must be in good working order and you must bring at least one spare inner tube that will fit your wheel and a puncture repair kit along with basic tools to carry out minor repairs.
