Celebrate International Womens Day with Breeze. Join us at We Cycles bike shop Llandudno Junction for coffee and a chat and an optional bike ride. This ride takes a circuit along quiet lanes to join the top of Llandudno's Promenade before taking on the fabulous challenge of the Great Orme. We will then descend into Denanwy and follow the road back to Llandudno Junction for more coffee (I'm sure there will be cakes also available to purchase!) Meeting at 9.15 at We Cycle we will enjoy a cup of their fab coffee, introduce one another and take a look around the shiny bike things in the shop. At 10.15 am the 2 rides will set off and ride together until the point where we will separate. On return we may meet up again for a second coffee if you so choose.

This is one of two rides starting at We Cycle, one being a "steady" ride which misses out the Great Orme and uses the cycle tracks promenade and dual use pavements. On this ride we will ride around the Orme and will be mainly sticking to the road.

If you have never cycled up the Orme then it is a fabulous ride. It is a toll road and for the most part, one way so traffic concerns are minimised. It is a good climb but consists of steps rather than one massive climb so there are opportunities to catch your breath. We will take a breather at the top and will support you fully on the way up. The descent on the other side is worth the climb!

Helmets are essential and it is advisable to bring some gloves and warm layer. Also please bring any equipment you need for roadside repairs, I do have a pump and a small toolkit but please bring an inner tube even if you are tubeless. Also please bring water and you may want to bring a sugary snack to help you up the Orme. You may want to bring some means of purchasing cake.

We especially welcome newbies!
