About the route
It's June! We can call this a summer ride! As well as a birthday ride - Monday 1 June marks the fourth anniversary of the first Breeze bike ride back in 2011. A lot of bikes have been ridden since then and it's one more excuse to eat cake! Today we set off from Menston and take a leisurely ride through the High Royds estate heading for Guiseley. Following the back roads we travel towards Carlton Lane for our steady climb to the top of Otley Chevin.We shall have frequent stops to admire the views and perhaps catch our breath.We then take the scenic route down Occupation Lane, giving us an excellent view of the airport. A loop around here brings us back into Bramhope for our coffee and cake stop at the Fox and Hounds pub. Our return route will take us over Otley Chevin and back down to Menston. We hope you can join us!
