Midlem, Melrose, Bogley Burn, Karen's, Camieston and home via Standhill

We head out of Denholm taking the road to Lilliesleaf. We then head up a slightly challenging hill to Midlem, where we take a right onto a road that gives us panoramic views of the Borders. We turn right and then left and head on to Melrose. We use a cycle path and cross over the Melrose by-pass and over the traffic-free Bogley Burn. Refreshments at Karen's Tearoom, if needed bikes can be taken indoors. We head home taking a right a Cooks Van Hire continuing until we turn right onto the Charlesfield road. We take the Standhill road to Denholm,

Helmets are required and please bring tools/repair kit in case of a puncture. Please also ensure beforehand that your bike is mechanically sound and that you have appropriate clothing for the Scottish weather. Front and rear lights. A drink and a snack.
