Midsummer Breeze through the Bridleways of Charlbury

We will head out of the back of the Old Shed to the Saltway and across to the Old London Rd to head down the Green Lane into Chadlington, and through the Bridleways to Puddlicote. Crossing the river we will pick up a bridleway at Chilson and ride up and down parallel to the railway to Shorthampton, then past the station and through Charlbury back to the Old Shed along Hundley Way.

This is a lovely off-road route through beautiful green fields and little villages. It will be great fun with some slightly bumpy tracks, some ups, some downs and plenty of undergrowth.

The route is mainly along bridleways with some country lanes, and a little bit of lightly trafficked road.

We will stop for refreshment at the old shed at the end of the ride.

Be sure to bring a roadworthy bike, a helmet, a spare inner tube and some cash for refreshments.
