Starting point

Perthshire
PH1 5HT

Starting from outside Bells Sports Centre on Perths North inch we follow the cycle path up the banks of the River Tay and then along the River Almond. Before we take the small ramp to join the Cycle parth to Luncarty. This is traffic free, but watch as we skirt past the parking area. Into Luncarty and onto the quiet road through the village before joing back onto the cycle path. At the Stanley Moneydie junction we head Left to Moneydie cross roads and then take the left country road to Pitcairngreen. This road has some climbs so need to be able to use your bikes gear or ebike power settings here. Its then into Almondbank being careful taking going down the hill and taking the sharp left to rejoin the cycle path back to our starting point on the North Inch.

We will stop as and when the ride leaders ask, which is discussed during the ride briefing at the start. Junctions and tops of hills (where safe to do so), photos stops, drink stops, etc
We are out to enjoy ourselves, so please let the ride leader know if there are any stops you want us to make.

On all rides a helmet is mandatory.

Please dress for the weather, wearing whatever is comfortable for you on the bike. Generally clothing should not flap about at the ankles, as it can get caught in the chain, and watch for any clothing catching on the saddle.

Bring water and whatever you might need should you get a puncture. Please also have functioning front and rear lights. We will be home before they are needed but this is just in case we get delayed for any reason.
