Moor Allerton Library- main entrance.

This ride is one of our Leeds Girls Can activities (Leeds City Council/Yorkshire Sport Foundation), to find out more about our us and our sessions please join our Facebook Page @LeedsGirlsCan. Route 1: From Moor Allerton Library to Urban Valley Farm and back. The ride is approximately 4 miles (around 6/7 kilometres) and is an easy going pace. The ride starts off meeting outside the library then taking the cycle path to the main road, crossing the junction and heading up the hill following the CC cycle route. Along the route there are woodlands, roads and residential estates therefore riders need to be able to ride a bike competently. We stop off at the Urban Valley Farm cafĂ© and then head back along the same route we came. Overall the ride last around 1.5 to 2 hours (depending on how long we chat for over coffee). Route 2: Heading out the same way from Moor Allerton Library however crossing the road before the junction and following the Woodland Trail cycle path through to Meanwood Park and back. This route is slightly longer however is all off road and fairly flat. We will choose which route to take at the beginning of each ride depending on the rider's overall choice. Please note- bikes and helmets can be hired free of charge on a first come first serve basis. Please contact Dani Penney to reserve one via email: [email protected]
