More sauntering to Shawford.

We will cycle out onto the cycle path along the river and Hockley viaduct and onto the road down to Compton before climbing up to Shawford and then onto Twyford on quiet country lanes. We will encounter one more hill in Twyford before taking the main road back into Winchester.

There is a stop for coffee in Winchester at the end of the ride so a please bring a padlock.

This is a gentle route following some quiet country lanes, there a few manageable hills.

You will need A roadworthy bike and cycle helmet An inner tube to fit your bike and a bicycle pump (no need to be able to fix a puncture yourself) Lights for your bike ( check they are charged/ working!)
