TF1 3LB

This is one of our longer rides that we have planned for this year. We will leave from Wrekin College to get onto the Silkin Way at Wrockwardine which will take us all the way along to Bratton, we then head out for Longon on tern, along the country lanes toRodington,Roden, Poynton Green into Shawbury at Moreton Corbett we then pick up the B5063 into Wem. We shall be on the main road for approximately 6 miles so this is where we need to maintain a tight riding group because of the more busier road, but you will be supported by your Breeze Champions all the way. Once we have reached Wem its only a short distance to our coffee and cake (Cheese Scone) stop at the Moat Shed. Our return journey back home will take us part of our journey outwards via Wem, Moreton Corbett, then on Bings Heath, Upton Magna, Witherington onto Rushmore Lane and then at Bratton back onto the Silkin Way o Wrockwardine and then back to the College.

This ride is mainly along country lanes, but there is a section into Wem that we have to take you along the Main Road. This is where we will need to keep together as a group you will be supported by your Breeze Champions all the way. We are aiming for an average pace of between 11-13 mph during the ride.

There will be a few more stops mainly because of the distances and a few more inclines, it will be a bit more of a challenge for you, but you will be supported by your champions. We will never leave anyone behind.

As with all our breeze rides our No Helmet No Ride Policy !!!! Please ensure that you have a road worthy bike and you also have a bike pump suitable for your bike. Bike locks are not necessary as they are in sight. Two water bottles if you have them and extra snacks for refuelling to help you if necessary. Jelly babies or some thing similar !!!!!

We never leave anyone behind
