Please meet in the courtyard out side Charlottes pantry and Margam Park Adventures.
We have a room which you will be directed to once in the courtyard, where free drinks will be available on arrival and again at lunch time, you will need to bring a packed lunch or make use of the onsite facilities. You will be able to leave bags food spare clothing etc in the room during the day.
Bike hire is available on site at £30 for the day, if bike hire is required please message as this will need to be booked in advance to secure a bike for the day. SA13 2TJ

Subject to the ability level of the group you are in and progress through the day there are a number of trails onsite including green blue and red level trails blue and green level pump track/skills area connected via various gravel paths around the park.

British Cycling Breeze MTB taster day is aimed at ladies who are either interested in getting into Mountain Biking or for those who are still very early in their mountain bike journey and would benefit from some basic coaching and to potentially meet some new riding buddies as well as having a great day riding bikes with a bunch of like minded ladies. Subject to numbers and experaince we will split everyone into 4 groups as below Group 1 - New to mtb only ridden green trails Group 2 - New to mtb only ridden green trails Group 3 - Beginner can ride blue tails Group 4 - Beginner/Intermediate happy riding blue trails & have ridden some red trails or sections In the morning group 3 and 4 will head out on the trails located at Margam Park while group 1 and 2 will be receiving bike maintenance and an appropriate MTB skills session. At 1pm we will stop for lunch. In the afternoon groups 1 and 2 will go out for their ride and group 3 and 4 will receive maintenance and skills sessions ability appropriate.

This will be all off road Mountains Bikes are preferable but hybrids will be ok for the beginner groups.

This will all be very sociable so lots of stops and selfie/group photo opportunities

Please ensure you bring with you; a fully functional Mountain Bike, Helmet, Gloves, appropriate clothing layers, a waterproof jacket, a drink and some snacks and either a packed lunch or means to buy food on site.
