This Father and son cycle group ride is open for anyone to join

A circular route of Doncaster up too 1.900 ft of climb on this ride a fantastic varied route on different tarrains.

A lovely MTB ride thru some lovely trails around edlington pit top and edlington woods then around Martin wells lake over towards conisbrough on Sheffield Road into steetley woods then across the magnificent viaduct looking towards conisbrough castle views over the river Don . We head up towards mexbrough via harlington riding on the banks of the river dearne . Once in mexbrough we ride along the canal towpath back towards conisbrough for our cafe stop beside the river and railway at McDonald’s, our return journey takes us under the railway underpass into the village of old denaby a very picturesque village, we then climb through the woods to conisbrough craggs we will go up to view the old northclife quarry. We head past the fabulous conisbrough castle heading back into the steetley woods bringing us out onto the viaduct then head back to tenpin via woodfield plantation

We will be riding through single track woodland trails and TPT trails , River banks and canal towpaths .

We will be stopping at McDonalds at conisbrough for our cafe break

Helmets are advisable please bring spare inner tubes tools to fix a puncture and pump . Cash / card for cafe stop .
