MTB Westcott, Leith Hill &amp; Coldharbour

Starting point

Westcott Green, opposite Nirvana Cycles. The parking isn't particularly good here but you should be able to find some roadside parking somewhere in Westcott or you could park in Dorking and cycle along the flat cycle path to Westcott (Route 22). Please be ready to leave The Green by 12 noon.

Intermediate MTB ride. Mountain bike ride for riders who have some experience of off road riding and want to build up their confidence and fitness levels. This route avoids most of the really technical trails around Leith Hill but does include some rocky, rooty single track and a few sections of steep up and downhill. The pace will be slow to medium, so there’s no rush and any section can be ridden at your own speed.

There’s a café at Leith Hill Tower and the Plough Inn at Coldharbour, so bring some money for refreshments in case we would like to stop.

Please make sure your mountain bike is well maintained. Wear a helmet and appropriate clothing for the weather. A small rucksack will be useful for storing a spare inner tube, pump and drink etc.
