National Trust Challenge - Baddesley Clinton

This is the second of a series of rides to local National Trust properties where we'll either picnic or make use of their café facilities. If you are a NT member please bring your membership card. As you will see from the list all the rides are on the last Saturday of each month AND the rides get progressively longer so present a challenge to those not used to the longer rides. The challenge IS realistic – if you can do this ride and keep cycling - by August 26th you will be able to do the 45 miles to Hanbury Hall and back. Go for it! The first 3 rides will be around 8-10 mph average and the last 2 will be a little faster at around 10/11 mph. A hybrid or road bike would be most suitable and it's helpful to bring a spare inner tube and a drink and snack/picnic. This ride takes us out along mainly quiet roads and country lanes to Baddesley Clinton where we'll picnic. After our refreshment stop we’ll meander our way back along the lanes.
