This hilly 30 mile road ride takes us from the National Cycling Centre on a scenic route skirting Ashton under Lyne then up towards Stalybridge where we tackle the Luzey Road climb and on through Uppermill to Diggle where a refreshment stop is planned for by the side the Huddersfield Narrow Canal. We return through Uppermill then ascend Hartshead Pike along Broadcarr Lane.
A ride through Daisy Nook Country Park should offer some respite before we tackle our last climb of the day up Stannybrook Road.
