Nelson’s Pit to Marple

We will meet at Nelson’s Pit Car Park on Lyme Road in Higher Poynton. We will walk down into the Middlewood Way and then cycle along the track to Marple when we will turn round and return. We can then return back to Nelson’s Pit car Park. If anyone would like to join us at the Bailey’s trading post at the end.

A gravel track - flat and traffic free

At the end, we can have a drink or ice cream at Bailey’s trading post on the canal

Helmets must be worn. Please bring a drink and money if you would like to stay for a chat and visit to Bailey’s trading post. Please bring a face mask and hand gel and any tools that you may need as equipment shouldn’t be shared. If you are coming by car, then please bring payment for the car park.
