This should be a great ride for beginners or folk wanting to do an easy/slow-paced ride, as it only involves two hills (and they're not very steep/long) and it's nearly all on cycle paths/tracks. We will only be going between 8-10 miles an hour The plan will then be to stick to cycle paths for 90 % of the way (if we go on roads it will be just quiet ones in St Crispins and Duston village) - involving a loop of the new Upton Valley Way business park, up the (easy) hill to St Crispins, back through Duston Village and then picking up the Nene Valley route to head to the Whitewater Centre and back. We could stop for a coffee at the cafe by the skateboard park in Midsummer Meadow or maybe the Delapre Golf Centre. (please note that 14 miles,is only an estimate of the ride distance but it wont be far off)
