Ride 3 A gentle ride on quiet roads. We head out from Chatteris (free parking at the Library) on to the local quiet roads and head towards Benwick. From here we will do a loop heading to Warboys with a little hill climb (not little) Average pace 10-12mph keep moving stay warm. We loop around to Somersham heading back in to Chatteris. Plenty of places for coffee and cake to choose from once back in town. Ride to steadily increase distance and your endurance week by week. As the months go on and weather permitted your first Century (100 kilometres) will be achieved in no time! Gravel or Mountain bikes most suited during winter!

Please ensure you wear a helmet your bike is roadworthy, and that you are equipped for cold weather. Snacks, drink and tools for quick puncture fix and a waterproof jackets essential.
