The View Tube, The Greenway, Marshgate Lane, London. (You can also meet us at 11.30am at the Terrace Bar & Café, Lee Valley White Water Centre, Station Rd, Waltham Cross EN9 1AB).

We meet at the View Tube and start by cycling along the popular Lee Valley route to the White Water Centre. You can join us there at 11.30am if you want to do a shorter ride. After a short break we will continue on to Broxbourne and Dobbs Weir. We then go past the Rye House Kart Circuit and the Amwell Quarry Nature Reserve. We continue on to Ware, where we will will see stunning array of gazebos lining the river. It is then only a short distance to the New River Gauge House, a brick building in the middle of nowhere that was built in 1856 to regulate the flow of water from the Lee to the New River and which still functions today. After that we continue on to Hertford, where we cycle over a weir to reach the Old Barge pub, where we will stop for lunch. We then turn round and return via slightly different route which takes us through Little Amwell and along some sections of the New River. We then rejoin the Lee River path. The ride will finish at Enfield Lock Station (Zone 6). Please note we are starting this ride slightly earlier than usual at 9.30am as we want to make sure that this is a ride to No-Ware.
