Nomansland / West End Barns

The ride begins through Sherrards Park Woods, crossing the Great North Road, skirting Ayot Green and continues along the Ayot Greenway to Wheathampstead. We exit the Greenway at Sheepcote Lane, cross the River Lea and the busy Marford Road. We continue up Dyke Lane (short steep hill) and continuing to the end where it meets the B651, crossing the road onto Nomansland Common.
We will cycle across the common for a coffee and cake stop at West End Barns before returning to Welwyn Garden City along the same route.

Ride through Nomansland on paths, lanes and bridleways through pretty Hertfordshire countryside

We will be cycling on traffic free routes, quiet lanes and bridleways

We may have a short coffee stop in Sandridge

Helmets, cycling mitts, high vis clothing, full water bottle and if you have them spare inner tubes, levers and a pump
