North Leeds explorer 6- 10 miles depending on group capability

This ride is good for ladies wanting to get confidence on the roads. Starting off on Glen Road, Far Headingley.
We cross the main Otley road (by foot if necessary) and go up in to Beckets park campus for a meander .We then head across Queenswood drive,
along recognised bike tracks , and on to Kirk stall lane. We go to the side of Headingley stadium and then around to the back of the stadium.
We head to the main Otley Road, going on it for a very short stretch near the Original Oak, turning right at Subway to head down to Meanwood.
We pass Waitrose on our left and on to Meanwood park, for a coffee at the café at the park or at another cafe near the end of the route. We then head back up Hollin Lane to get back to Glen Road.
we can extend the route in a number of ways if the group is keen to do so.
the group size is a limit of three participants in total to enable confidence to be gained. Bring money, a drink and, of course, your helmet.

This is a mixed quiet road/park route for ladies who want an hour or so's relatively gentle meander on a Saturday morning

suburban residential roads around weetwood, headlingley and meanwood.

We can stop near the end in Meanwood - coffee at Maria's café opposite Waitrose.

Money for a drink. ;usual safety clothing etc.
