North Liverpool Hidden Gems

A steady circular route of just over 20 miles exploring many highlights and hidden green routes within North Liverpool. Using the Liverpool-Leeds Canal and the Liverpool Loopline to get around on this wonderful ride. Highlights include Anthony Gormley’s statues, Aintree Racecourse, the historic Anfield Cemetery, views of both football stadia, the newly refurbished Isla Gladstone Conservatory in Stanley Park and a spectacular viewpoint over Liverpool and the hills of Wales! Definitely one not to miss!

As we head into winter, there's no need to put the bike into the shed until spring. Come and join us - any roadworthy bike is fine. The canal path will be a bit muddy in parts at this time of year, so grippier tyres are better. Bring some warm waterproof clothing (just in case it rains...), a spare inner tube that fits your bike, a pump, a bit of cash for the coffee shop and some water.
