Come and celebrate Stevenage's brand-new cycleway! This ride is a very special occasion - dress up, decorate your bike or just come as you are.
We will ride together from the Bowling Green up to the Lister Hospital using the newly completed North Road cycleway. The entire route is traffic free and the short ride is suitable for accompanied children - they can be registered as additional riders.
We will pause to admire the artwork at the Lister hospital underpass and then return to the Bowling Green where there will be cycling related activities including bikes to try out.
The Bowling Green is at the top of the Stevenage Old Town historic High Street. There are lots of interesting shops and cafes plus the Farmers' Market so plenty of options for a drink or snack after the ride.
