About the route

Starting at Queen's Drive Park & Ride the route meanders along the River Trent admiring the beautiful views heading towards to Sawley where we join quiet country lanes to follow the A453 back towards Nottingham.
The route then takes us via the network of bridle ways and shared access paths along side the River Trent before crossing the old Toll Bridge at Wilford. We then follow the riverside path back to our starting point.

Please note that the Park & Ride car park is closed on Sundays. However there is ample free parking on Thane Road just a couple of minutes ride from the starting point.
