Off to the Pieman V3

An early evening blast over the valley to Egerton, setting off from Moss Bank car park. As always a pick and good mix of roads/paths. There has been a modification to the pre-existing route that takes in some forest trails. The terrain is a mix of tarmac, uneven and sometimes wet stony trails and sandy/pebbly cyclepaths. Please be aware there are one or two steady inclines just over the halfway point. They don’t last long and if need be, you can always get off and push. As always, the English weather is often unpredictable so please dress appropriately. It’s better to take layers off, then have none to put on if its chilly or wet! Also bring along a drink and a snack for the ride. As always, a helmet is essential along with a spare inner tube, pump, lock etc but don't worry too much if you don't have the latter.
