Old Railway Line to Lincoln

Meeting near the Queens Hotel in East Markham we will follow roads to Fledborough where we will join the old railway line trail all the way to Lincoln.
We will grab a coffee and cake at Brayford Wharf before returning the same way.

Please don’t come on a road bike as parts of the trail are rough, a hybrid or mountain bike would be best.

If you are nervous about roads, you can meet us at Fledborough, I’d estimate we’ll get there at 11am, please message me if you plan to do this so I know not to wait for you at East Markham.

Ride to Lincoln, following the old railway line to Lincoln

Some roads, but the vast majority is on the traffic free on the old railway line.

We will stop at Lincoln for coffee/cake/lunch before returning the same way.

Helmets are advisable. Please bring a puncture repair kit and spare inner tube, a drink, suitable clothing, money for the cafe.
