Orbital to Tadpole Village - The Strawberry Thief --- The Long way Round

Slow, evening amble along very safe cycle paths to the Strawberry Thief pub for a swifty and or a snack and head back before it gets dark.

We will join Pond Lane from Orbital and then head onto part of the Haydon Wick Round. This will take in the cycle routes of North Swindon.

We will have lovely views of Swindon crossing via cycle Path the Groundswell Ridge Roman site, although there is no ruins to see, the site was discovered during construction and was saved from Development by SBC and English Heritage purchase the land as a Protected monument. We will head onto another cycle path which takes us directly to Tadpole Village.

This is a very slow amble to The Strawberry Thief...but we are going a different way to explore more cycle paths in North Swindon that you haven't experience 2nd time round. We will enjoy the some the Haydon Wick round and then enjoy the views across Swindon then onto Tadpole... I will update the Narrative when I have cycle the route tomorrow . minimal road .... I've avoided any climbs, apart from 1/2 small climbs, even on the cycle tracks :-)
