Hi all, for this ride, let’s work on our climbing skills (and our hamstrings!). Remember - your reward is the tea/cake, or the descent that comes after, or both!
Note - I have some knee problems so have changed the ride to 31 miles. I will still navigate as know lots of scenic routes.
You can download the GPX - click on the button on here.
We’ll meet at 9:30am at The Chelsfield Pub, BR6 6EY, then head out to the countryside and its fresh air, and explore some of the most beautiful cycling routes in the South East. A mid-ride lovely tea or coffee stop is included (you, deserve it!) and is a great chance to get to know other cyclists.
We'll cycle to Ightham, Plaxtol, Ash, Fawkham Green and back.
Speed: 9 - 11 mph average
Route: 31 miles

Please remember to pack a waterproof jacket, a spare inner tube, a bike lock and some money for the tea and coffee stop. Make sure your bike is in good working order – do check your brakes.
