Otter-ly Fab 6-miler Through Beeley Wood and back to Free Family Fun Day

Everyone with a working bike is welcome to join the otter-ly fab, flat and fun adventure from Hillsborough Park’s gates, as we cycle along the Beeley Wood Cycle Route (adjacent to the River Don) in search of otters. This ride should be otter-ly fab because otter-watch cameras have been appearing in the Upper Don Valley.

We are going to travel along new cycle infrastructure in Hillsborough, such as the new cycle crossings. You should find the viewing point at Oughtibridge otter-ly fab. Then we will return to Hillsborough Park, as we enjoy more fab and free fun.

After the Otter-ly Fab Ride, everyone could attend the Hillsborough Churches’ Family Fun Day, which is both a fab and free annual event that’s held in Hillsborough Park. There’s even a tea tent that serves refreshments free of charge and it opens just after the Fab Ride at 1pm.

Please rest assured that we won’t be cycling near any tramlines. Especially when considering the sterling work by Cycle Sheffield about recording hundreds of cycling accidents due to tramlines in Sheffield. At least, there will be a prayer tent at the Fun Day, and we could pray for better cycle routes both across and around Sheffield’s very dangerous tramlines.
