Starting from Leverhulme Park we head towards Radcliff where we pick Outwood Trail heading South into Drinkwater Park, incorporating a quick figure of eight around Hurst Wood. From Drinkwater Park we cross Prestwich Clough into Heaton Park where we have a café stop. Then heading North, we track back towards Bury via the bridge at Gigg and the Roch Valley Greenway. Its then back to Bolton using a variation of the Bolton Bury Cycleway. The route may well be quite muddy in sections and whilst most of it is along cycle paths there are some unavoidable sections on busy roads. Please bring a helmet, spare inner tube and money for the café stop.
