Pedal Power – National Trust Saltram and Plym Valley

Discover Saltram and the Plym Valley in a new way with 'Pedal Power', monthly social bike rides for all the family to enjoy. Each ride will take a different route through these wonderful National Trust properties, is led by a qualified Ride Leader, and participation is free. This series of rides is about showing people a bit more of the National Trust properties than perhaps most visitors experience. I endeavour to make the rides somewhat adventurous but also must keep them family-friendly. For each ride I have a basic route plan in my head. I will also have extras that I can insert into the basic route, based upon weather conditions, participants' ability levels, etc. This ride will start from Plymbridge carpark, and head northward on the main cycle path, passing the Forestry Commission's Cann Woods, travelling over several viaducts, through a long tunnel, and, eventually, utilising the recently opened ramp to arrive within the Dartmoor National Park, returning by the same route to Plymbridge carpark.
