Led by experienced ride leaders, these rides are a great way to explore new places and to meet new people who enjoy cycling. They are suitable for all levels of experience, so whether you are a beginner or a seasoned cyclist, you can find a ride that is right for you.

To keep your legs moving and your feet in the pedals over the colder (possibly wetter) months these evening rides aim to keep you on your bike.
Starting at Sainsbury we will cycle along the path on Embankment Road towards Laira Bridge where we will cross over and continue through Cattedown. This ride is a mixture of cycleways and road. We will stop at Captain Jaspers for whatever you feel like consuming then head back the same way.
This ride will be suitable for anyone with some regular cycling experience or those returning to cycling after a break but still reasonably active. It will not be suitable for those completely new to cycling. Route 2 does use some quiet roads however you will be fully supported by experienced ride leaders.
Please bring with you:
Helmet
Fully checked and working bike
Spare inner tube and pump
Appropriate clothing for weather conditions
Working front and rear lights
Water
Money for refreshments
Waterproof coat
Gloves
Sense of humour
