Starting point

LL57 4HT

Penrhyn Castle Visitor Centre / main car park. Meet here at 9.30am and be ready to push (or ride) your bike up to the castle. We will do the skills session in the castle grounds before going on the bike ride.

The toilets at the Visitor Centre should be open.

A short (15 - 20 mins) coaching session looking at a variety of fundamental cycling skills. We will adapt the session to suit the participants, and it will be relaxed and informal.

We will then go for an easy paced ride along cycle tracks and quiet roads. Relatively flat, suitable for all.

A visit to Penrhyn Castle cafe / coffee shop after the ride too.

Suitable for women and children 6 years and over who can comfortably ride this distance - younger children and babies in BS Standard trailers, tagalongs and bike seats also welcome. Each adult rider can book up to 4 children on to the ride. Under 16s must wear a helmet.

Please do remember that children in trailers and on bike seats aren't moving and can get cold - the cycle path is always cool and shady so bring layers and gloves.
