Mainly off-road route to blow away the cobwebs in the New Year!!

The route follows the Liverpool-Leeds Canal, across Rimrose Valley Park to the Crosby Promenade (option to stop at Waterloo Place cafe), then up through the sand dunes to Hightown and along the cycle path alongside the Altcar Rifle Range to Formby, then up through woodland tracks to Ainsdale Station, to stop at Mecycle's cafe.

If weather is good, then there could be an additional optional 20 mile return route following the Cheshire Lines, Liverpool-Leeds Canal, Loop Line, then through Stanley Park and over the viewpoint at Everton Brow to cross town to return to the Pier Head.

Hope a lot of people can come along!
