Start is Outside of Feniscowles and Pleasington Sports and Social Club, Livesey Branch Road (A6062), Blackburn BB2 5EH. There should be adequate on road parking in front of the social club and playing fields. Alternatively you can use Witton Park car park (BB2 2TP) and cycle up to the start. (Approx 2 miles/10 minute ride). You will need to pay £1-50 to use the Witton Car Park.

Route is via Earcroft, Guide and Acre, taking NCN route 6 to Haslingden and Helmshore, joining NCN route 91 near the Textile Museum to Hazelhurst and Edgworth. We will have lunch at The Reading Room Coffee Shop at The Barlow in Edgworth. The return leg is through Turton / Chapeltown and Belmont then up to Tockholes for the long descent back to Pleasington

Total distance will be 33 miles
At the time of writing the weather is predicted to be sunny but quite cold
