Beginner Bike Ride - Plymbridge Woods - Bike Hire AVL

Welcome to Guided Rides, cycling for men and women of all abilities (ages 16+).

If you are new to cycling or looking to re-start gently, this is the right ride for you, please keep reading.

Plymbridge Woods is a beautiful place to cycle, the section we'll escort you along, is flat tarmac cycle path, away from cars and traffic. You'll be cycling with other riders who are of the same ability as yourself. There is no set speed or distance, everything will take place within your own comfort level. You'll be looked after by experienced British Cycling Guided ride leaders.

You are welcome to bring your own bike though we can also provide a bike completely free for the evening. Please turn up at least 15 minutes early if you wish to borrow a bike, this gives us time to find and set up the right size bike for you. Helmets will be worn as this is a beginners evening and your safety is our priority. If you have access to a helmet, please bring it, if not, we will lend you one. All bikes and helmets will go through a cleaning process before and after use.

Please bring something to drink/eat and wear/bring suitable clothing - the return journey is always slightly cooler! If you are using your own bike, then you should also carry a spare inner tube.
