The series of rides will start on 5 miles and we will gradually add a few miles each week as you gain in confidence with the target getting up to 20. The rides will mainly be flat and tootling around our local villages and the route will depend on how well riders do. You will be looked after by a Breeze Champions who are qualified Cycle Leaders with British Cycling who will ensure that you all get round safely and can cycle at a speed to suit your ability. This is a series of 6easy flat rides 'Couch to 20 miles and is specifically for beginners or those feeling a bit rusty. The aim would be to try and attend all 6 rides in the series so you can start from 5 miles and progress each week adding a few more miles on until we get you to 20 miles We will be on our quiet country lanes trying to avoid too much traffic. Although we can stop to drink water there won't be any other stops Helmets are essential and all our Champions would not be happy to have anyone on the ride without as your safety is paramount. You need to carry with you a spare inner tube to fit your bike, a pump and puncture repair kit. Also please wear appropriate clothing for our ever changing weather , gloves , high vis windproof /waterproof jacket and thin layers underneath depending how cold you get. Please have lights until the nights draw out and in case we take longer than anticipated just to be safe and seen. We never leave anyone behind
