For the ladies who have been attending the recent Improvers rides and would like to try a slightly bigger hill! I have kept the route short so that we have plenty of time to ride the hill. You will ride the hill at your own pace and we will look at gearing both before and during the ride.

The route heads out down Burnby Lane and on to Burnby where we will turn right towards Londesborough. At Londesborough we take a left, almost double backing on ourselves, to go a little higher before coming to the crossroads above Nunburnholme. We will descend into Nunburnholme and return to Pocklington via Kilnwick Road.

This is a punchy short route that you are all more than capable of riding so no excuses!

Please ensure your bike is in good working order and your gears are shifting smoothly as this will help ensure you have an easier ride up the hill. Your brakes must also be in excellent working order and we will check both these points prior to setting off.

Please bring a spare inner tube for your bike, a pump, a first aid kit and plenty of fluids. No helmet = no ride.
