About the route
Pool in Wharfedale, next to the Shell petrol station
The Route:
We’ll cross the bridge, turn right to start heading to Weeton then turn Left on Weeton lane to head up to Almscliffe Crag > Stainburn > North Rigton > Leathley > Farnley Park > Otley > Cockpit Farm > Pool in Wharfedale.
This is a Road Ride. There are some hills but not too hard for those who ride regular, All kinds of traffic use these roads so you should be traffic aware.
This is a nice route of 20 miles, shorter than our normal Saturday ride.
We ride at a steady pace of 10mph No-one will get left behind :)
Make sure your bike is in good working order,Road Bike, bring a drink, also spare tubes & tools to sort out a puncher should it happen.
