Pop up Coffee Stop Alban Way

A route of approximately 14 miles taking in undulating countryside as well as a few inclines.
Starting at the St Albans Cycle Hub (within the Cottommill Community and Cycling Centre) Parking in a nearby road is advised as the car park for the hub sometimes shuts early. We will cycle out on a short section of road then after with mainly traffic free sections of the Alban Way to the pop up coffee stop in Smallford for refreshments, before returning to the St Albans hub.
We will aim to cycle at a gentle pace of approx 7- 10mph, we will always wait and let the group catch up and of course wait at the top of any inclines.
Now for the Covid bit….
Although Covid restrictions have been lifted we are asking all riders to be respectful to the other riders. Please do not attend if you have Covid symptoms.

Please remember to bring with you
- Helmet
-Spare inner tubes for your bike and appropriate tools, even if you don't know how to change an inner tube there are other people in the group to help.
-A water bottle with a drink in, cycling can be thirsty work.
- Appropriate clothing for the weather.
- Purse/Wallet/card if you want to purchase refreshments.
