The iconic poppy sculpture Wave, is part of the UK-wide tour organised by 14-18 NOW, the UK’s arts programme for the First World War centenary.
We will cycle along route 27 towards the Barbican and divert up to The Hoe to visit the exhibition in daylight, hopefully making it there, just before sunset. From there, we'll cycle over to the Royal William Yard and stop for refreshments at the Seco Lounge before returning in the dark to the exhibition, to see it lit at night. We'll then wander back along route 27 to Marsh Mills.
This route will include on and off road sections. Could everyone please have working lights as the ride will be in dusk and the dark. All participants will be expected to carry a spare inner tube suitable for your bike and to wear a helmet.
