Poppy Ride, Cleethorpes to Lincoln

The Poppy Ride is a social ride from Cleethorpes Memorial Gate to the Poppy: Wave at Lincoln Castle and back and is to raise funds towards the 2017 Cleethorpes Armed Forces Day. The first part of the ride is hilly through the beautiful Lincolnshire Wolds and follows National Cycle Route 1 before becoming a flat route from Walesby through to Lincoln. The return from Lincoln is mostly flat with just one or two slight rises before returning to the starting point at the Remembrance Gate. This is a fundraising event, no entry fee but would invite participants to donate a minimum of £5. It is recommended that riders carry refreshments.
