We will be leaving Leigh Sports Village via Pennington Flash and joining the canal down to Astley, from there we take the quiet roads across Chat Moss to City Airport (although this road can be a bit lumpy with pot holes) a cycle path along the A57 and then a short stretch of road before we join the Port Salford Greenway which brings us into Worsley Village. We will then return via the RHS Bridgewater paths, before crossing over and rejoining the canal just before Astley.

This is a fairly flat route so great for those wanting to extend their mileage.

We will take a refreshment break - the location will depend on the number of riders we have.

You will need a helmet and appropriate clothing for the weather. Ideally you should bring cash or card if you intend to purchase refreshments, a spare inner tube, pump, basic tools and a puncture repair kit

First Timers and regular riders all welcome !
